EVERYTHING CÉLINE...

Céline Dion is a wonderful, down to earth, family oriented, gentle, kind, generous woman, along with being the biggest selling female artist in the world selling over 170 million albums worldwide and continuing to sell albums and singles, as well as performing 5 nights a week in her spectacular show 'A New Day...' at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas. She is a remarkable, dedicated singer, mother, wife and friend to her millions of fans worldwide.

'A New Day...' opened March 25, 2003 and has been sold out every night, a few months ago Céline celebrated her 100th show at the purpose built colosseum in America's gambling city. Céline has toured the world with her breathtaking performances and felt that she wanted to be able to call one single place home, a place she could retire to after her show was over instead of yet another hotel room. After all she has been in this business for 24 dedicated and amazing years I think it's time she let her fans come to her for a change!

Also, she wanted to give René-Charles, her son, the best upbringing she possibly could and wisely, she did not want to travel with a baby and have him in the spotlight with her. She feels that the abnormal and surreal environment of fame is no life for a child who needs love, security and support. Therefore she wanted to settle in one place where she could be with her son and also still perform - in her words, she gets the best of both worlds! Too right Céline!! You go, girlfriend!!

Céline is the celebrity patron of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Canada. Unlike many celebrity supporters of charities, Céline has generously donated many of her appearance fees in several of her concerts to the CF cause. One of which raised nearly $1 million for the charity. Every charity could do with a patron with the same compassion, dedication and support that Céline gives.
